Faith, Family & Values
Faith and family are the foundation of my life.
My wife Rachael and I have been married for 22 years, and together we are raising four boys. Like most families, we juggle school events, sports, church, work, and everything in between. Those experiences keep me grounded. They remind me every day that the decisions made by local government are not abstract. They directly impact families just like mine.
My faith shapes how I lead. It teaches accountability, humility, service, and responsibility. Those values guide my approach to public service and to life.
Marine CORPS VETERAN
I am a United States Marine Corps veteran. The Marine Corps taught me discipline, leadership, and the importance of mission-first thinking.
You learn quickly in the Marines that leadership is not about titles or attention. It’s about responsibility, preparation, and taking care of the people you serve alongside. That mindset has stayed with me in business, in government, and in this campaign.
Business Owner, Not a Career Politician
I’m not a career politician. I’m a local businessman who understands what it takes to meet payroll, manage costs, comply with regulations, and keep the doors open in good times and bad.
I currently operate several small businesses right here in Maury County. That experience gives me a real-world understanding of how county government decisions affect job creators, employees, and families. When government overreaches, small businesses feel it first. When government works well, communities grow responsibly.
As Mayor, I will bring that same practical, results-driven mindset to county government.
County Commissioner with Real Experience
I currently serve as a Maury County Commissioner, where I’ve been deeply involved in the work that happens behind the scenes long before final votes are taken.
I’ve served on key committees, asked hard questions, requested data, and pushed for transparency and accountability. I believe leadership happens upstream, in committee rooms and conversations, not just at the microphone on voting night.
That experience matters. The Mayor’s office is not a place for on-the-job training. It requires someone who understands county government, budgets, infrastructure, growth pressures, and long-term planning.
WHY I’m Running for mayor
Maury County is at a defining moment.
We are growing. Growth brings opportunity, but it also brings challenges. Infrastructure, water, public safety, farmland preservation, fiscal responsibility, and smart planning all require steady, conservative leadership.
I’m running for Mayor because I believe Maury County deserves leadership that is:
Republican and conservative in principle
People-first in decision making
Transparent and accountable
Focused on long-term solutions, not short-term politics
Willing to ask tough questions and slow down bad ideas
My goal is simple: to help make Maury County the best place in Tennessee to live, work, raise a family, and build a future
A Commitment to Serve
Public service has been a lifelong calling for me. This campaign is not about ambition. It’s about responsibility.
If elected Mayor, I will work every day to earn your trust, protect taxpayer dollars, support our communities, and lead with integrity.
I would be honored to earn your support.
